Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion brings together garments and textiles by First Nations designers and artists from across Australia, celebrating Indigenous art, history and culture through the lens of contemporary fashion.

Curated by Shonae Hobson, the exhibition was the first major survey of contemporary Indigenous Australian fashion presented nationally, marking a significant moment in the recognition of Indigenous fashion as a growing and influential industry. Developed through close collaboration with artists and communities, Piinpi toured extensively across Australia and internationally, including presentations in Canberra, Brisbane, Rockhampton, Melbourne, Taiwan and Paris, positioning Indigenous Australian fashion within a global context.
