Honoured to be named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list.

There are so many people to thank, especially my family, who have always taught me to stay true to myself and to never compromise my values.

Anyone who works in the Indigenous art sector knows that our work is never done in isolation. This acknowledgement reflects the many communities, collaborators, and mentors I’ve had the privilege of learning from over the years. I’m deeply grateful to the artists and designers who continue to inspire me, and to everyone who has supported me along the way.

I have always believed in the power of art to create meaningful and impactful change for my people.

When I founded Studio Shonae in March 2025, the mission was clear: to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, designers, and communities through meaningful engagements and collaborations.

As a proud Southern Kaantju, Umpila, and Kuuku Ya’u woman from remote Cape York Peninsula, moments like this are a reminder that where you come from should never limit where you can go!!

Thank you Forbes for this recognition!

We’re just getting started. 🤍
